I recently went looking for the Enoch Crosby Homestead. Iheard it was for sale, and I wanted to see it ‘live’. As you probably know, Enoch Crosby was a Revolutionary War spy (for our side) and lived in Southeast. Along the way, I found this nice little spot alongside Middle Branch Reservoir, at the intersection of Maple Road and Ivy Hill Road. A solitary bench, adorned with a small American Flag and a sign that says, “The Neighborhood Meditation Bench”. As you look across the reservoir, you can see the traffic on Route 6 silently pass by. And this time of year, you can see the white horse fences and green pastures of Tilly Foster Farm.
