It just so happened that I found this Flag Day memorial on Flag Day. This past June 14th (Flag Day) I brought two of my kids (the third wasn’t old enough) to Putnam Fish & Game for a class on how to shoot. The day started at 8am with an hour long safety class, then on-site training on the range. Great program.
While I was waiting for my kids, I found this POW/MIA memorial at the base of the flagpole that sits outside PF&G’s headquarters. It just so happened it was dedication for Flag Day — 24 years prior.
