Peaceful and secluded Gregory Cemetery sits on a peninsula that sticks out into the Croton Falls Reservoir. Containing only a few stones, the cemetery includes the headstone of Revolutionary War Veteran Daniel Gregory.
It is accessed via the footpath that start at the dirt pull-off at the intersection of Stebbins Rd and West Shore Dr in Carmel NY. Make sure you have your free NYC DEP access permit displayed on your rearview mirror.
Its a short hike. It took less than an hour, including hanging out for a bit at the cemetery. Plus, its a peninsula, so its pretty much impossible to get lost!!
